Good afternoon, friends and thanks for stopping by. I want to thank you for my continued success with ‘Awakened by Fate.’ This week I’m presenting my review of Nico J. Genes’ ‘Lessons in Life.’
Lessons in life is a compilation of short inspiring stories. Each one tells a tale about a life’s lesson. The topics include looking at what we take for granted, gratitude, and the choices we make in life. She offers good words of wisdom and a positive outlook on life.
One of my favorite stories is about something simple we assume without questioning. It goes to say what we are taught as kids do stick with us as adults and then we go ahead and do the same thing.
A second story caught my attention deals with fear. It is interesting to learn children don’t experience it the same as adults. You’ll see what I mean in the book.
Another topic caught my eye. It is about imposing opinions. People tend to want to change other’s points of view on issues. The author explains her take on this. I find her words inspiring.
This book is a fun read and can be read within five hours. It is very moderately-paced, and each story is unique. The way each is written is clear and will grab your attention. You do not need to read the stories in order if you don’t want to. You will get the message. I feel like a new awareness came over me as a result of reading this book. I really enjoyed each story and I know you will too. I am recommending it to everyone. Don’t forget to read the introduction to the book as it was writing by yours truly.

Everyone has their reasons for their own choices. We are all unique individuals. We make our choices based on the way we were raised, places we grew up in, schools we attended, books that we’ve read, our life experiences, things and places we’ve seen, our thoughts, based on certain feelings or simply our taste. This list could go on and on.
