Hello everyone. It is great to see you. Today I have an important announcement. Next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. PST, (11:00 a.m. MST, 12:00 p.m. CST, 1:00 p.m. EST and 6:00 p.m. London) I will be the guest in the Facebook group, The Lesbian Book Nook’s show, ‘On the Spotlight.’ This is a weekly interview show where people can ask the guest author questions about themselves and their work. Lots of authors have been on the show and it has grown over the years. I am excited to be part of this and cannot wait to receive your questions.

Now I’d like to tell you all a bit about myself.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with my work, in addition to putting on my weekly blog, I am an author of lesbian literature. My first book is ‘Awakened by Fate’. It tells the story of a woman who is so absorbed in her life that she can’t see the light of day. Then one night an event happens and suddenly her world changes. Secrets soon come out that can’t be ignored or stuffed down anymore. She is forced to deal with her new life. Along the way romance comes, but is she able to have it?

My second book, ‘Enticed by Love’ is about a woman who is haunted by a past love while another waits on the horizon. In this story, an older woman has special gifts that she uses to help others struggling with their own personal lives. She is kind-hearted and would never say cross things intentionally. She is her own person. I chose her because I want to show that you are never too old for romance. Also, there isn’t much literature in this sub-genre.
I am very excited that ‘Enticed by Love’ is almost ready to hit the shelves.
I got into blogging because I love to write and want to help others in my genre get exposure. I am a team player who wants the best for all. It takes a lot to get a book published and distributed. Lesfic is a great genre that is growing. I’m proud to be part of it.
In my off time, I enjoy hiking. I go with one of my friends and we have a blast as we walk along the beautiful trails. I love the scent of the sage as they are plentiful along the way. We see lizards every once in a while. For me, hiking is a serene time of my life. I truly enjoy the sounds and sights of nature.
Another thing I enjoy is playing Tomb Raider on my computer, although these days I am not always able to play my favorite game. The protagonist, Lara Croft, is a heroine in that she is able to beat disaster before it ruins everything. In addition, she goes on side missions and finds things like relics or artifacts. It is fun for me to explore the lands she is in. I enjoy solving the puzzles.
One thing that is very special to me is my volunteer work with the homeless. I have participated in blanket drives where we go down to skid row in downtown Los Angeles and distribute the blankets to people in need. The same group puts on a monthly lunch in a park for the homeless. I feel this work is very important and it makes me feel good knowing that I am able to make a positive difference.
