Hello Everyone and welcome. I hope you are all being safe and well. For me, it seems that time has slowed down. Being a writer I’m used to staying indoors and being secluded so this quarantine really isn’t having a big impact on me in that respect. I have kept myself busy with a variety of things.
This semester I’m taking a German class for self-enrichment. It is really fun learning the structure of the language and how similar it is to English. It has helped me keep my mind off of things and focusing on how I’m going to learn all my vocabulary for my next quiz. Learning a language is like putting together a puzzle. I’m planning to continue with my studies this fall.
In the writing world, I’ve put together an outline for book 4 and have written just over 25k words. I plan to resume my work on it once my German class is over. It is a romance story with some paranormal. My protagonist has strong ethics and at first, she is afraid to voice herself. I will tell you more later on.
Also, I have been very busy promoting my new release, Enticed by Love. I want to thank all of you who purchased the book and gave me a review. I really appreciate this. Here is a blurb to my story, Enticed by Love:
This unique story is about a woman, Henrietta, who is haunted by a past love while another one waits on the horizon. Her long-lost lover often occupies her mind. At the same time, she possesses a gift that not many understand but those who do, flock to her. A gorgeous and intelligent woman, wiser beyond her years, enters Henrietta’s heart. Certain shocking truths surface, changing the course of Henrietta’s life. A life-long mystery is solved. I invite you to come along for Henrietta’s amazing journey. It is LGBTQ and has romance, paranormal, ESP, and mystery.

Last Saturday, I was the guest on the Facebook Group The Lesbian Readers Book Club’s The Grill. People posted their questions in the group and I answered them. It was such a blast. I got to see familiar faces as well as meet new ones. I want to thank all who came and asked me questions.
I continue my work with this blog. To give back to the reading and writing community, I feature authors and artists. Last week I had author Elle Hyden as my guest blogger. I’m supportive of these people because I appreciate them for who they are – artists. Like me, they are out there promoting their work. There is so much that goes into creating their art.
In other news, 2020 has changed me in a number of ways. I feel free to be who I am and I love that. During this time, I have gone within a deep reflection. I feel closer to the Source and am exploring this. I’m in the eye of a hurricane where all is peaceful, no matter what is going on in the outside world.
Each day I wake up and reflect on gratitude. I am grateful for a lot of things, including my writing, my wife, and life itself. I’m blessed that I am able to give back to the writing and reading communities.
I am truly happy to be here. My contribution has helped many people on their journeys. By working together we are able to promote each other and help each other grow. I’m encouraging you to reach out to readers and writers and give them a shout-out. Also, don’t forget to write a review for the authors of the books you read. This shows the author you appreciate their hard work.

Lastly, never let anyone’s criticism destroy your passion for your work. Your art is unique and amazing and there is room for all to shine. With this said, keep writing, creating, and sharing.
I want to thank all of you for coming today. Your participation here is greatly appreciated. To give back to you, I am giving away a copy of my new release, Enticed by Love. To enter all you need to do is add a comment in the comments section of this blog. Thank you so much for all your continued support. I couldn’t have done it without you.
Until Next Time,
Lynn
