In this group, women talk about LGBTQ books, particularly Lesfic. I will be discussing Enticed by Love as well as reading an excerpt from the book. I hope to see you there.
In other news, I have been hard at work with my third book. It is currently with my second set of beta readers. I want to thank both Nicole Loveless-Moody and McGee Mathews for their help. I really got to see the plot from a new perspective and was able to make strong changes to it.
My story is about a woman who encounters a strange event one night and then has missing memories of that day. Strangers try to contact her and she thinks she is going crazy. At the same time, her past is suddenly in her face and she uses all her might to deal with it. With the help of her friends, she sets off to fight back. Then things change and suddenly she is thrown into a brand new world where everything is foreign. The question is, will she be able to adapt or will she continue with her fight. There is a lot of action in the story that will keep you on your toes. The romance is hot.
This story came to me one night as I was working on another future manuscript. I wrote out an outline and the words began to flow. It mostly takes place here in Southern California. The protagonist likes interests such as hiking and going to the beach. She lives a simple but practical life and enjoys it. She eats a plant-based diet and takes good care of herself. She is a cat-lover. She is a go-getter and doesn’t stop until she gets what she wants.
This is all I can share for now. I will be telling you more as time goes on. I hope to have an excerpt soon.
In other news, I have been actively promoting Enticed by Love and have been having fun doing so. Recently, I did two review swaps (Poptastic and The Swords Choice – Sapphire Eruption) and really enjoyed the books. By doing this, I am helping other authors. It is a lot of fun reading their work and keeps me in the loop of things. Also, I will be doing another interview with Facebook’s Lez Spinecracker’s on Jul-11-20 to discuss my work and myself. I will keep you informed.
In the next few weeks, I am starting up a newsletter highlighting what is going on with me as well as the authors I feature on my blog. If you’d like to be included, all you need to do is send me an email to lynnlawlerbooks@gmail.com with the words ‘mailing list’ in the subject line.
