This summer, I have been able to catch up on my two manuscripts. They are coming along very well and I’ve had a lot of fun writing them.
The first manuscript is about a woman who encounters a strange event one night that she has no recall of it afterward. As time moves forward, she notices unexplainable changes in herself. Strangers contact her, and are watching her move. A twist makes the woman feel as though she were going crazy. At the same time, a strong woman, yearning for love enters her life. This story is currently with the beta readers.
The second manuscript is a romance that takes place during a pandemic. My protagonist is an attractive woman who is stuck in her life at the start of the story. Suddenly she is thrown into circumstances out of her control and her struggle is to resolve the issues. Two women enter her life, each seeking love, but only one can have her. A sudden gift comes her way that opens up a new can of worms. With this a secret is unraveled, revealing a truth that shakes up some people. This story has about 63,000 words and I have more plot to write.

In other news, I did some beta reading for a Lesfic author. Her book is the first part of a western series and I’m already looking forward to book two. I love beta reading because I’m helping authors. They really appreciate the suggestions and critiques. It brings me great joy to see their book in print later on.
It has been a good experience this past month as I’ve really gotten in touch with myself through the writing. I’ve let go of a lot of things that no longer serve me. I am very grateful.
